WHAT BEHIND THAT MADE THIS TRIP A SPECIAL, 2015

WHAT BEHIND THAT MADE THIS TRIP A SPECIAL, 2014

COULTERVILE, MARIPOSA

Coultervile,is a small town of Mariposa, once flourished with gold mining in 1800s, the country was rich with wilderness of  Sierra Nevada in the southwest part of Yosemite. In the year of 2014, due to drought, the river(part of Merced) that  pass through Coultervile became almost a dry land which strike my mind: only water could  make it alive.

THE STANISLAUS National Park

Stanislaus, the far Northwest part of Yosemite attract the tourist with blue water of Tuolumne river along the forest. The country was devastated with forest fire back in 1987 at the Vista point where a memorial touch the viewers  about this burned forest and those  who lost their life.

This is part of the Tuolumne county.

THE HETCH HETCHY

Hetch Hetchy reservour, located to the north west part of Yosemite, the reservour connected to other falls ( Tueeulala, Wapna, and Ranchala), fall on Tuolumne river as named to the east, at the Centre with the tourist imagination of Lake Tenaya, the largest water sources for the wilderness. In 2014, due to drought of California, the water level in the reservour was frustrating! What would be the future for the Hydro Power or  supply drinking water to Bay area!. Down to the south of Yosemte, water level was almost nil.
